Advantages of Modular Garden Houses Compared to Traditional Construction

Yes, we have already mentioned this before on our homepage, but now we would like to tell you more about it.

Production speed.

The house will be manufactured within just 8-10 weeks from the moment we process your requirements! If will be delivered and completely prepared for use within one business day.

No stress about construction permits.

Construction permits are not required for modular homes of up to 50m2 in urban areas and up to 80m2 in the countryside (gardeners’ community, rural area).

No more time wasted looking for trustworthy professionals.

Everything is manufactured in one place, by a single company - us! You don't have to find a separate architect, builder, decorator, plumber or electrician. And if you require even more, our interior designer is ready to customize the interior space according to your vision, take care of the furniture and accessories.

No noise.

The house is prefabricated and assembled in our factory, which means you won't have to deal with any construction noises on your plot.

No trash and no worries about the construction waste.

Since the production of our garden houses takes place in our premises and not in your backyard, the waste is our concern. Before we deliver your garden house to you, we will thoroughly clean it so that you can use and enjoy your new purchase right away.

Mobility.

Since no building permit is necessary, the house can be easily moved to another location, even if the new location is in another city, e.g. from Vilnius to Klaipėda, Kaunas, Panevėžys, Šiauliai or wherever you like.

Lower price.

The components of modular houses are pre-fabricated and easier to assemble, therefore the process is faster and more efficient. There is no need for a large number of builders and machinery, the assembly takes place in our factory where the optimal operating conditions are created and no environmental factors such as rain, snow or cold can affect the speed and quality of the production process.

Financial benefits.

If in the future you decide that it is time to sell your garden house, you can do so without major effort. Normally, the construction of a garden house means direct expenses with no possibility of recovering the money spent (unless you sell it along with the land plot). In case of InModulus, the house can be sold and removed even after 10 years.

What types of materials do we use?

Particular focus in the production of InModulus products is placed on the materials in order to ensure the top quality, energy efficiency and durability. The metal construction and sandwich panels are robust, widely applicable technological solutions that make our products highly energy-efficient and weathertight. This combination of the construction provides a thermal efficiency rating of A+ or even A++ and is resistant to rodents, moisture, mold or other harmful elements that could have an impact on the building. Even when not in use during the winter season, the hygiene of the building remains at its optimum. In addition, the metal structure retains its strength under heavy transport loads. This means that the prefabricated garden house retains its characteristics and quality even after years of intensive use.

What materials are used for exterior cladding of modular houses?

We understand that garden houses must not only be practical but also look nice. We want our customers to feel comfortable and cozy, both when they are drinking tea inside their house, and when they see their garden house from outside. For the exterior, we choose time-proven and modern material compositions, including wood, tin, decorative bricks, or combinations of fibrocement and other types of composite panels. Sometimes the price of the modular house is the major determinant in the customer decision-making process. We don't risk the quality of the constructions and materials, but we do seek for the optimal solutions of installation, cladding and design based on the budget of each customer.

What is the level of completion of the houses?

InModulus garden houses are fully completed and prepared for recreation and living. The customer only needs to take care of free standing furniture and interior decorations. We take care of the following:

Electrical plugs and lighting are installed according to the project, or according to the customer's preferences and needs. Two options are available for heating and ventilation systems:

FAQ on the Production of Garden Houses

Although we are able to achieve A+ or A++ energy efficiency ratings in our products, we understand that this is not something that is necessary for all of our customers. Therefore, we adjust the energy efficiency classes of our products individually according to the needs of each customer.
InModulus structure does not require complicated foundation work, as the structure of the garden house itself has a solid foundation. However, this doesn't mean that no preparation of the site is required. The most important thing is to level the ground where the house is going to be built and to ensure that the water and sewerage connections are suitable.
Before the garden house can be delivered to your land plot, you need to make sure that the land is level and that electricity, water and sewage systems are installed in the right place. All other work, including connection of the systems to the building, will be handled by our specialists.
Our garden houses are available with or without a terrace. Of course, as far as it is possible, we recommend choosing the one with a terrace. First of all because you will have to prepare the land for the house and the terrace all at once. This will save you time and money. Second, the terrace will not only make the house look more beautiful, it will also add additional coziness and functionality to your leisure and relaxation space. When the house is delivered and installed, you will be able to have tea and enjoy your surroundings on the terrace the very same evening.
We already have ready-made garden house projects and we recommend choosing one of them, as they have already been tested and are in line with our production standards. However, if you have your own specific needs and want a unique project, please contact our specialists to discuss your options with us.
The average price of a fully equipped garden house is around EUR 1,000 per square meter, depending on the project you choose. To find out more, please contact us and we will calculate the price together according to your specific needs.
The warranty period is individual, and depends on the specific project. As a responsible company, we guarantee the reliability of the installation work and the materials used (metal structures, sandwich panels, windows, doors, etc.). The terms of the warranty are discussed individually with each client, taking into account the specifics of the project, the needs and the operational requirements. Our goal is long-term reliability and customer satisfaction.
